Timeslicer 1.7.8

Timeslicer 1.7.8 sharpens your timeline and adds an optional way to cover apps that hide their text.

Window snapshots (Mac, optional)

• Some apps never expose their text, so their time is hard to label. Turn on window snapshots and Timeslicer reads the words on screen instead, using your Mac's built-in text recognition.
• Off by default. It needs the Screen Recording permission, and only apps you approve are ever read.

A sharper timeline

• Timeline rows now show each stretch of work on its own instead of pooling them into "Mixed" blocks.
• Quick website visits count after 5 seconds instead of 10.
• Time in terminals like iTerm2 is credited correctly again.
• Block details fold sub-2-minute glances so the list stays readable.
• Tasks you added yourself can now be deleted from the Timeline.

Teams

• Team owners get a Team page: member list, headline stats, and each member's calendar.

Fixes and polish

• Music and video time is tracked more accurately, especially on Windows.
• WhatsApp and other WebView apps on Windows now expose their text for labeling.
• If your sign-in expires, the app comes to the front so you can sign back in.
• Dialogs open without the laggy background blur.
